We support the struggle of teachers in Mexico
The World Federation of Teachers’ Unions, FISE, member of World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), sends its solidarity message to Mexico workers, who struggle on the streets for their rights. The problems of education are problems that concern the working class as a whole and that’s why all the trade unions should fight together for free education and for teachers’ rights. The education of children of the working class is important and essential. It is also inextricably linked to the level of teachers’ freedom to work for the benefit of the children and not for the indexes that the teachers have to reach, imposed by the governments of the capital.
