A protest for the release of the Colombian trade unionist Huber de Jesús Ballesteros Gómez, who has been already in prison for three years for his political and trade union action and he will be on trial on Monday 19/12/2016, was held today by the World Federation of Teachers Union, FISE, member of the WFTU, at the embassy of Colombia, in Greece.
FISE met Ms. Niki Arvanitis, the Secretary of the Consulate, talked with her and submitted a resolution for the defence of the trade unionist.
At the same time, a protest was held by the World Federation of Trade Unions, WFTU and the All Workers Militant Front, PAME.
