HTFI and JKRETTF Held A State Wide Sit In Protest And A Lock Out Protest For The Demand Of Delinking The Salary Of ReTs From SSA To State Sector

Srinagar, June 4 ( JKRETTF): Today, a state wide Sit In Protest and School Lockout Protest was held by ReTs ” Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers “under the combined banner of Honorary Teachers Federation Of India I.e. HTFI &  JKRETTF “Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum” led by GENERALISSIMO LEKH RANJAN B.PATRO ,Chairman Gazi Abdul Aziz and its State President Vinod Sharma. The protesters were  demanding the Delinking of salary for ReTs  from SSA to state sector and implementation of 7th pay commission for said teachers at its earliest.  They were also demanding release of all pending salary , pending from several months , plus pending arrears, pending from years.
     In this regard  a grand Sit In Protest was held at Partab Park in summer capital Srinagar, in which a huge number of ReTs  and all state executive and apex body members of HTFI and JKRETTF participated. Where as in Jammu province same type of Sit In protest was held at all zonal headquarters by thousands of Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers, showing their anguish against the unfavourable approach of government towards SSA ReTs.
      Supporting the same protest  call maximum primary and middle  schools across the state observed a complete Lock Out today.
    Anguish over  delaying tactics of government for redressal of SSA salary issue, GENERALISSIMO PATRO said, ” It is very unfortunate from the part of government that despite many assurances, government is yet to fulfil the legitimate salary right of thousands of salary less permanent  Teachers working under SSA”. “The irony is that, despite benifited by 6th pay commission, the government has stoped their 7th pay commission benefit without any reason”, he added.
    The state president JKRETTF Vinod Sharma said, ” Recently government framed a high level committee to redress the salary issue of the said teachers and sought 15 days time, but more than 20 days have passed and government is not comming up with any concrete solution to this salary issue, which forced us once again to hit the streets”.
     The senior leaders of JKRETTF who participated in the protest are Saleem Sagar , Najam Jafri, Riyazu Rahman, Hyder Ali Khan,Parvaiz Iqbal,  Gulzabir Deing, Sukhdev Singh,  Pir Siraj, Azad Hussain , Pir Mushtaq, Ghulam Nabi Ganie, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Mukhtar Ahmad, Ghulam Nabi Rather, Bashir Ahmad Pandith, Shsbir Ahmad Rah, Zahoor Ahmad Syed Misaq, Zeeshan Parvaiz, Shahnawaz Ahmad and many others.
