The question of gender equality can not be discussed in isolation. It has to be pondered over historical, political, economic, social and cultural dimension. The strengthening of the concept of only welfare state with linked inclusive growth can only ensure gender justice. This day is not only meant for celebration but to strong pledge to demolish the fortress of neo-liberalism and a determined united democratic struggle the retrograde historical process.
