Pakistan Labour Federtaion (PLF) Solidarity message to Colombian Teachers
On behalf of the Executive Bioard of Pakistan labour Federtaion (PLF) we are fully supporting the Dynamic strike organized by the Colombian Federation of Teachers FECODE. At the same time, trade unions take organizational and information initiatives by organizing conferences, artistic and cultural interventions. (PLF) strongly condemnded the the Government action to cut down the resources for education by 60 million, resulting in downgrading infrastructure in education, lack of teachers in the schools, impoverishment of the health system. The new contract that teachers’ unions are called upon to sign is subordinate to the previous one. The struggle of teachers to improve their working terms so that the educational system meets the needs of working class children is a struggle for all workers. (PLF) Together stand with the teachers, parents, students, trade unions oc Colombia and must strengthen the struggles.
