Statement by the Coalition of Labor Unions condemning Trump’s Speech on the Displacement of the Palestinian People

The Palestinian Labor Union Coalition condemns Trump’s speech on displacing the Palestinian people The Palestinian Labor Union Coalition condemned the statements of US President Donald Trump in his attempt to emphasize the displacement of the Palestinian people to a number of neighboring countries in order to displace the Palestinians and open the way for the Israelis to act in Gaza and the West Bank in the way they see fit with the interests of Zionist and American imperialism and empty the Palestinian lands of their owners. This is considered Trump’s allusion to the event with Jordan and Egypt and urging and forcing them to receive the Palestinians away from Gaza for a period of six months and up to a year under the pretext of waiting until Gaza is rebuilt. The Labor Union Coalition considered that these calls carry within them the greatest poison and grave danger to the Palestinian cause and come within the framework of emptying Gaza and then the West Bank and Jerusalem of their owners and leaving them without return. The labor union coalition stressed the position of the Palestinian leadership and the national action factions, and behind it the positions of Jordan, Egypt and a number of Arab countries that reject this criminal proposal that aims to eliminate the contents of the Palestinian cause. The labor union coalition indicated that Palestine, its people and its workers are attached to the land and will not move from it or leave it because they were born and will die in it. Palestine will remain the homeland of the ancestors and the future state with Jerusalem as its capital.
