Students in Mexico participated in a two-day protest on October 15th and 16th, demanding justice for their 43 fellow students, who were kidnapped, shortly after the murderous police, drug cartels and criminal organizations attack, in view of undermining the student movement.
More specifically, on 27 September, the police attacked the students in, who were protesting in Guerrero, killing 7 of them, injuring 25 and leaving the above mentioned 43 still considered missing, because there is no evidence, proving their location.
Up till now, 34 people have been arrested-26 of them were Iguala police members. In the meantime, warrant arrests have been issued for the city mayor Jose Louis Ambarca and his wife Maria de los Angeles Pinenta.
Students, however, seem to be determined to keep on with their protests until their request is satisfied.
FISE expresses its solidarity with the students who are struggling in Mexico.
