Solidarity with the strike of workers in Italy on March 25, 2020
FISE expresses its solidarity with the strike of workers of Italy on March 25, against the industrialists who aim at continuing their profitability during the pandemic period of Covid-19, putting in danger the lives of workers.
The workers in Italy went on strike in order to demand measures of protection of their lives. A large number of business and industries did not stop their operation although they are gathering thousands of workers in these workplaces that become dispersion centres of the Covid-19. The profit for the large business groups costs more than the workers and the people’s lives.
The workers in all European countries are also facing the attack of their respective governments and the multinational companies who promote dismissals, decrease of wages and labor rights in their effort to save their profits during the pandemic period.
The duty of the class-oriented trade unions all over the world is to prepare their counterattack against the policies that attack our lives and our rights.
Your strike and struggle inspire workers all over the world.
