The 18th Congress of FISE started today 4th of March 2018 in Mexico City, México, hosted by CNTE Mexico with an impressive opening ceremony and the participation of more than 100 delegates, 50 of them international delegates coming from many countries of the five continents.
During the opening ceremony , comrade Valentin Pacho , WFTU Vice President greeted the Congress , representing the WFTU and read the greeting message of WFTU General Secretary cde George Mavrikos.
The General Secretary of CNTE, section 18 of Michoacan Victor Manuel Zavala and other leaders of CNTE Mexico, as well as the FISE President, comrade Hassan Ismail and FISE Vice President,
Comrade Chrysoula Lampoudi, also conveyed their wishes and optimism for the success of the 18th Congress of FISE.
The Congress now continues with the interventions of FISE leadership as well as the interventions of the international and local delegates. Long live the 18th Congress of FISE! Long live the teachers’ class struggles!
