FISE World Federation of Teachers’ Unions affiliated to WFTU expresses its solidarity with PAME and the Greek working class for the National General Strike of November 12.
The workers of Greece face a brutal attack by the Capital, the Greek Government of SYRIZA and the European Union. The measures of the 3rdMemorandum will abolish their rights in social security; will bring new cuts in pensions and salaries. They also aim to cancel trade union rights and freedoms and the right to go on Strike.
The capitalists want the workers in Greece to accept the new slaughter, without resistance. That is why they use the Government of SYRIZA to cultivate disappointment and inaction to the people.
The Greek class trade union movement, PAME has called for militant response to the new attack. The General Strike in Greece can be a step forward for the counterattack of the working class.
